Founder and Principal
Peg Skarrow
founded Skarrow Associates in 1989, based on more than 20 years
of experience developing management training and human resources
programs. As principal for Skarrow Associates, Ms. Skarrow provides
the full range of training and human resource consulting services.
These include management services, organization development and
training and development. She is an expert in instructional design,
project management, human resource consulting, and competency analysis.
Prior to
founding the firm, Ms. Skarrow was Director of Human Resource Planning
and Development with Purity Supreme, a Pathmark supermarket
chain. There she managed a staff of eight associates in management
development, training, and human resource planning, and a budget
in excess of $1 million. At Achieve Global, formerly Xerox
Learning Systems, she was Senior Project Manager. Responsibilities
included design, development, and implementation of customized training
programs in management development and communications skills for
Fortune 500 companies in varied industries. For Westinghouse
Health Systems, Ms. Skarrow was Project Director, responsible
for curriculum design and program implementation in management training.
She also managed teams of consultants who provided management consulting
and training services nationally. At the beginning of her career
she was a consultant for Arthur D. Little, conducting needs
analyses, work-flow analyses, and train-the-trainer sessions.
Ms. Skarrow
holds a bachelor's degree in education and a master's degree in
sociology from Boston College. She was chosen as a fellow in organizational
systems at Johns Hopkins.
